Another cool, dewy morning arrived. The large deputy blinked open his light blue eyes, Koijaw sighed as he saw the worn down grass from the rouge he was watching. But, there was no rouge. Jaws aching the large tom shook out his fur that collected dew, "I should get my jaws checked out." He mewed to himself, his frame stood up and stretched, now limping to Rainfall's den. The male slowed as he made his way there, Something isn't right, why is it so damn quiet? His brow arched as he swung his head around to find some of his Clanmates. Where is everyone? Koijaw's heart now raced, his thoughts blocking him from the real world. Soon his ears flickered to a voice, "Koijaw! What are you doing down there, get in the den!" His head turned to see Silverstar shouting at him. "Why do I need to be in the den?" He questioned back, he was far too confused to know anything. "Just get up here! You'll get bit!" The leader called back. Slightly frowning "Bit? What do you me-" The deputy cut off as he felt to sharp pains in his side, he yowled in surprise and snarled, turning his head. A large snake was latched and dangling against his side. The large tom heard more shouting, "Koijaw! Someone get Rainfall!" His head turned to see Turtlesplash jumping down the stone ledges, followed by a ton of the warriors. Silverstar as well, the snake released it's grip when Turtlesplash arrived, slithering quickly into the forest, the male limply collapsed to the ground. His large figure started to twitch and jerk rapidly, his heavy breaths cut off before he spluttered. "Koijaw! Someone get Rainfall! Where is she! Are you all deaf or something? He's dying!" Silverstar demanded firmly, repeating Turtlesplash's words, Koijaw's eyes stretched wide before he jerked. "Help, the fire, it's burning me." Koijaw rasped, he saw confused faces around him. "What fire?" Many of the warriors asked, worried. "M-My, blood, it's on fire. Get it put out." He managed to choke out, twitching, his tail lashed rapidly. "Don't give up, we need you Koijaw! We need you here, you're our deputy! You can make it through a snake bite." Several of the warriors began panicking as his twitching died down, he heard many voices, his hearing faded quickly. His body gave one more jerk, Koijaw lived by a second to see Rainfall racing forward, herbs in her jaws. His eyes shut most of the way, his body grew utterly still. For a moment, Koijaw felt, peaceful, and relaxed. He blinked his eyes open again to find a few starry figures, smiling brightly and waiting for him. "J-Jhonny?" In disbelief Koijaw raced forward and rubbed noses with his deceased mother. "I've missed you so much! Where's father?" The large tom looked around in confusion. "Koi, son. Your father, went to the Dark Forest." The brown she-cat mewed softly. Her head pressed against his chest in comfort, "Wouldn't surprise me." Koijaw rolled his eyes. His head turned to see the raw grief in many of the warriors' eyes all gathered around his large frame. "I left them..." Koijaw whispered, his heart shocked to some of them sobbing uncontrollably. "I left Silverstar, and Rainfall, I left them all." He added, his tail curled around his leg. Koijaw sighed and flattened his ears, Licking his uneven jaws, "I'll miss them, they were great Clanmates." He mewed loudly. "Yes, they were, Koi. They were great to let you into the Clan, they treated us greatly. I can't thank them enough, it hurts to see you grow so fast, and that I wasn't there when you needed me. But now," Jhonny comforted before she was cut off. "But now I can see you everyday, but I can't see them." Koijaw muttered, he stood up. "We should be on our way." Jhonny added, she curled her tail around Koijaw's hind legs and began to pad away. Her eyes focused on how he limped, and how his jaws were crooked and unstable. She pressed her side against him as they walked to join the rest of StarClan. "You'll miss them, I know. But you'll see them again." Koijaw heard his mother's mew again. "Yeah." He purred.
So there we go, Koijaw had died, bitten viciously by a snake. I've been planning the death of Koijaw for a while now. Giving up my deputy position to Sharpclaw. I've been barely active on Koi, and I felt the need to give it up. I've already removed Koi from the group, I will only be killing off Koi for now. No worries, I'm not leaving. But like I said, Koi is dead, gone, no more Koi.
